Sardinia (and of course Sant'Antioco) has wonderful summers that last for 6 months: from May to October. The early months of summer are particularly pleasant, due to the incoming breeze from the Mediterranean Sea. Perhaps the best time to go is between May and June, when the sun is not sweltering, the skies are clear, and the fields are green and blooming with colours. The weather at this time averages between 22° (71F) and 25° (77F) and more. August obviously is the hottest time to visit (and the most busy and crowded, too). Also September, and, sometimes, October, offer beautiful sunny days. Winters are generally mild with intervals of sunshine, especially in March and April.
